About
Hesperides is a photography collective born in London. In Summer 2024, artists Anna Lani, Maria Stella Lydaki, and Caitlin Isobel Winter began creating together. Their practice challenges traditional structures by moving away from hierarchical authorship. Prioritising playfulness and intuition, Hesperides highlights the value of fluid leadership and collective care.
Moving between being behind and in front of their cameras, their own bodies appear as vessels to embody the spectral and spiritual, while at the same time investigating a deep, grounded connection to nature and its elements. They explore carefully chosen, symbolic locations, building sanctuaries of peace and solace.
